Selwyn River Boating
Sir,—The thanks of all fishermen are due to the writer who drew attention to the abuse of the Selwyn river. One of my friends who was boating in the track of a jet boat on the lake saw dozens of flounders cast up about 10 feet into the air. These fish would probably be injured beyond recovery. I wonder will the Marine Department investigate the danger to fish in this shallow lake. —Yours, etc, CONSERVATION. February 28, 1962.
