St Andrew's college won the hast two doubles to beat Titnaru Boys’ High Sctwol by 12 matches to 9 in the mter-scbool tennos fixture which finished in Titnaru today. There was particularly keen competition in the singles, eight of the 12 matches going to three sets. The match between T. Wilkins (St Andrew's) and P. Oliver lasted for two rounds and a half, ptey deteriorating into steady lobbing, with Wilkiiw finally winning fi-2, 4-e. 12-10. Because of rain interrupting play on Tuesday, boom of the doubles were shortened to the best of 17 gams*, instead of the beet of three sets.
