Dr. McMeekan, Of Ruakura ( N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, February 15. Dr. C. P. McMeekan, director of the Ruakura animal research station, will leave New Zealand shortly to take up an appointment overseas. Dr. McMeekan, who has won world recognition for his work, has been director of the Ruakura station since 1943. Recently he appealed against the appointment of Mr D. N. R. Webb as Director-General of Agriculture, and it is understood that his appeal was unsuccessful.
