- Sir. Imagine how you would feel if this morning you had been told you were row a labour-only contracting editor, henceforth to be paid at so much a column inch for editorial work. You provide your own typewriter and blue pencil, pay your pwn insurance, your own accountant, and provide your own office. If the paper folds you go without your money: it they decide your work is ■not good enough they don’t pay you. Your erstwhile employer provides news and paper and money.
