Top Price, 446 d (AZ. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. February 14 The highest Australian wool price since 1956— 448 d per lb —was paid at Goulburr. sales today for a line from the famous Hedly Picker stud at Bigga 65 miles north of Goulburn. in southern Jiew South Wales. Five of the Picker family gained top honours After the top price came 351 d for R. W and N P Picker. 302 d for R R Picker, and 265 d for D H Picker. Mr Keith Gaggin. of Farmers’ and Graziers’ Co-opera-tive. Ltd., who sold the wool said it was bne of the most remarkable sales in Goulburn, although it did not approach world figures Often the Pickers have made temporary world records, beaten later in the season in Tasmania
