Locomotives For Sale
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 13.
Lord Bridgeman, a 65-years-old British politician, farmer, landowner and company director, said today he will try to sell electric and diesel electric locomotives to the New Zealand Railways while he is here.
He arrived last night for a 10 days' visit Lord Bridgeman is a director of Vulcan Foundry, Ltd, a subsidiary of the big locomotive makers, English Electric.
His visit is mainly concerned with directonships of the Australia and New Zealand Bank and Atlas Copco (Great Britain).
