Painter Guilty Of Fatal Negligence
I N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 14. A jury in the Supreme Court at Auckland today found Albert Cyril Register, aged 45, a painter, guilty of negligent driving causing the death of Mrs Lucy McKay Mr Justice Boys remanded him on bail for sentence The charge arose from an accident at a pedestrian crossing on Mount Eden road on September 10 last year. Accused was represented by Dr. A. M. Finlay, and Mr G. D. Speight conducted the case for the Crown.
