Second Appeal Heard ( N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 14. The hearing of the second of the two appeals, that of Mr G. A. Holmes, of Taieri. against the appointment of the Director of Lands. Mr D N. R. Webb, as DirectorGeneral of Agriculture has been completed The other appellant. Dr. C. P McMeekan, superintendent of the Department of Agriculture’s Ruakura animal research station, has already been heard. A spokesman for the Public Service Commission said today that he thought it would te some days before an announcement of the decision of the Appeal Board could be expected.
