The Queen
Sir,—lt was good to read the letter of K. G. Neill this morning. Broadminded people are ever ready to admit their mistakes, and gain respect in doing so. It is all the more unfortunate that I Trew should stoop to argue with the less equal of the animals and thereby stir up a hornets' nest in the process. We in New Zealand are not all subnormal, and tire of having “pointed out” to us what “intelligent Europeans” have already realised and such phrases. In the case of Royalty there are always those who grasp the opportunity to ride their pet hobbv-horse. —Yours, etc., LOYAL SUBJECT. February 10, 1962.
