BOTTLE DRIVE EARNS £250
Funds For Music Society A bottle drive by the Royal Christchurch Musical Society on Saturday raised £250 towards the society's visit to Adelaide in March. The 50 members and helpers collected 1153 crates of beer bottles, 350 to 400 crates of other bottles, and 65 flagons. The money raised was £5O more than the target. The proceeds will be part of the £12.000 needed to pay the travelling expenses of 180 choir members.
