POPULAR COLOURS FOR AUTUMN
Curry Gold, Clove Carnation Nature’s colours in autumn are reflected again this year in the fashion chart for the autumn-winter of 1962. Curry gold has flashed into favour with all the allure gold has for the feminine mind. Warm and appealing in the depth of its radiance, it brings with it a range of jewel tones. Clove carnation suggests amethysts, a new deep red is close to a glowing ruby and blues match the sparkling sapphire. Hunting greens and many deep browns have been inspired by the bush and forests of New Zealand.
