WOMEN’S TEAM
Seven Players Available ( N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Feb. 12. Seven players have accepted the conditions of the proposed overseas tour by a New Zealand women’s tennis team to the United Kingdom and their names will now be forwarded to the selectors for consideration and selection of a fourplayer team. This was announced at tonight’s meeting of the New Zealand Lawr Tennis Asso ciation management commit tee.
The seven women are Misses P. Belton (Auckland). J Davidson (Canterbury). E Green (Auckland), M. Johnston (Wellington), S Rich (Canterbury), A. Smith (Auckland), and E. Terry (Waikato).
The former New Zealand champion, Miss R. Morrison, was not available.
