Boys’ Brigade Conference

Officials of the Boys’ Brigade in various parts of the Pacific and South-east Asia are to meet for the first time for talks on the extension and consolidation of the movement in their areas.

Between today and February 17 they will assemble in Sydney as guests of the Australian councils. Four senior Boys’ Brigade officers will travel from New Zealand—Mr M. T. Dearsly. Palmerston North, the New Zealand President: the Rev. R. L. Challis, Auckland, parttime organiser for the Pacific; Mr R. H Dickey. Gore, organiser for the Solomon and Niue Islands; and Mr A. Dorman, New Zealand secretary. Pastor Tepa Faletoese. Samoan organiser of the Brigade, who is at present in New Zealand, will also be at the conference.

Representatives will also attend from Singapore, Malaya. Nauru, Hong Kong. Cook Islands, and Australia
