Offerings For Next Sale Some 28,000 bales of New Zealand wool will be on offer at the London wool sales, which will be held from February 21 to March 2. according to cabled advice received in Christchurch by the Australia and New Zealand Bank, Ltd. The total offering of 48,800 bales is made up as follows: Bales Australia .. 10,500 New Zealand— Greasy .. 17,200 Scoured .. 7300 Slipe .. 4.00" South Africa .. 600 Kenya .. 400 Falkland Islands 2.300 United Kingdom 6,500 Total .. 48.000 Stockpile wools included in these figures are 2983 Australian, 1054 New Zealand, and 447 South African.
