ARMY RECRUITING TOUR
Director In City Today The director of Army recruiting (Lieutenant-Colonel R. N Griggs) will arrive in Christchurch early this morning for a familiarisation and recruiting tour in the South Island as far as Invercargill. Colonel Griggs will be accompanied by the Southern Military District recruiting officer (Major F A. Gunn) During the tour they will visit the mayors of several towns and secondary schools conducting barracks weeks Today, the two officers will visit Ashburton schools to see barracks week activities before continuing to Timaru Tomorrow, they will visit Oamaru and will stay in Dunedin until Friday when they will go to Invercargill
