ASIAN ARTS AND CRAFTS
Exhibition To Be Held In City An exhibition of Asian handicrafts will be held in a city store during the next fortnight by the Christchurch branch of the United Nations Association. Pottery, paintings, needlework and other works of art and craft will be on view They will include items from India. Indonesia, Thailand. Vietnam and the Philippines The exhibition is being staged as part of the association’s efforts to publicise the current five-year Freedom from Hunger Campaign, and donations will be sought for the extension of the work of U.N.I.C.E.F
