Moore Collapses After Race

PA .-Reuter— Copyright) SYDNEY. February 11. The jockey. G. Moore, collapsed after riding in th* first race at Rosehill yesterday. Moore collapsed in th* jockeys' room after he rod* the hot favourite, Liea'i Pride, which finished sixth in the Two-year-old Handicap for fillies. Dr. J. Whittemore, the Sydney Turf Club'e doctor, examined Moore, and ordered him to go home and go to bed. Before the race Moore was involved In a heated argument with the Clerk of Scale* (Mr G. W. Lilley) over Moore'* use of the official scale* to test hl* weight.
