Two Crews Bid For Title

Inter-Dominion Contest (N.Z. Press Association) Auckland, Feb. 10. The Flying Dutchman Owners’ Association national secretary, D. Brown, announced yesterday that plans had been completed to hold an inter-Dominion contest annually between Australia and New Zealand. Mr Brown, a member of the New Zealand Flying Dutchman team which competed successfully in the Australian yachting championships on Sydney Harbour this week, arrived in Auckland last night. He said today the four New Zealand skippers had sailed particularly well to win three of the five races in the Dutchman championships. which because ot the New Zealand entries, had been called the first interDominion title contest. The contest is to be sailed alternately in the two countries—the next in Auckland over Easter next year.

'Biere would be no restriction on entries from either country, said Mr Brown, and the Australians had promised to send a big team over to Auckland for the event.
