The best batting of the day came after C. Borde’s early dismissal to the new ball Sardesai hit 50 in 87 minutes with seven fours and R Nadkamj hit 46 in 57 minutes with eight fours.
P Umrigar also completed ■ sound 66 in 170 minutes. Umrigar hit a six and eight fours and added 89 in even time with Sardesai The best Trinidad bowler was the leg-spinner T Rodriguez, who claimed four for 67.
