Swimming U.S. Girl On N.Z. Tour
1 N Z Hretib » AUCKLAND. February 10. Miss R. Johnson, of Virginia, the third fastest woman swimmer in the world over 100 metres freestyle in 1961, arrived in Auckland today to begin a tour of New Zealand sponsored by the Newmarket Swimming Club Miss Johnson is accompanied by the United States tower diving champion. Miss B. McAllister, of Phoenix, Arizona, and their chaperone. Mrs L. Whiting, of lowa. Miss Johnson is 16 and Miss McAllister 20 They will swim in Auckland on Thursday and Saturday, and again on March 1.
