Mr Holyoake’s Birthday

( N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 11. Like most men in middle age, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) did not vary his routine today because it was his birthday. He is 58. At 5 p.m. Mr Holyoake said he had been working steadily since 9 a.m. and had no hope of being finished before the evening meal His Sunday was usqally occupied that way Most of his tasks were preparation for a meeting of the Cabinet tomorrow and making sure that no Government work was held up on his desk.

The day had been marked by gifts from his family and numerous messages of congratulations.
