N.Z. MARATHON TITLE
12 Canterbury Entries Twelve runners have been named to represent Canterbury in the New Zealand marathon championship to be held at Invercargill in conjunction with the junior track and field championships on March 2 and 3. The first four competitors at the Canterbury championships will have their travelling expenses subsidised and the others may travel at their own expense. Entries for the national chan,pionship events are usually limited to three an event, but a year or two ago the limit was removed from the marathon Those named by the Canterbury selectors (Messrs E Lunn.
