WATCHES STOLEN FROM WINDOW
Police Arrest Young Man The display windows of two shops in Ferry road were smashed early on Saturday morning. Several watches were taken from one, occupied by S. A. Suckling, jeweller, 3A Ferry road. A cyclist saw the jeweller’s window being smashed about 2 a.m. and informed the police, who later arrested a young man. The other window smashed was in the radio shop of C. E. L. Field.
