New Youth Hostels
By 1964 there will be 50 youth hostels and house hostels throughout New Zealand. Eight youth hostels are at present under construction in the North and South Islands, according to the news-sheet of the Youth Hostels’ Association of New Zealand. The hostels are at Opoutere (Thames), Te Aroha, Hamilton, Waikaremoana, Clive, New Plymouth, Greymouth and Te Anau. Extensions are also being made to the Mount Cook hoMeL
