“Miss N.Z.” Final In June
"The Press" Special Service WELLINGTON, Feb. 9. Sixteen finalists will compete in this year’s "Miss New Zealand” contest to be decided In Dunedin during Queen's Birthday week-end.' Last year only the five main centres had an interest in the final.
The promoter, Mr J. Brown, said in Wellington this week that this year he was introducing a new title, “Miss South Seas.” which would be open to Maori girls.
