Rochdale Fancied For Wanganui

WELLINGTON, February 9. Rochdale's clash at weight-for-age over a mile with Cabriere and Key in the Jackson Stakes will be the feature of the Last day of the Wanganui summer meeting tomorrow. Rochdale is the Dominion's best sprinter, and Cabriere and Key hold high ranking among the second-season horses in commission.

The trio is in excellent form, Rochdale having won the Telegraph Handicap at Trentham and finishing a good third In the George Adams Handicap a week later.

Key won the Wellington Stakes and was an unlucky fourth in the Adams Handicap, and Cabriere followed up his third in the Telegraph Handicap with a close second in the Gloaming Stakes at Trentham. The T.A.B. double is on the Earle and Campbell Handicaps A likely combination is Kingdom and Auriette.
