Missing Girl Sought
(N.Z. Preu Asin.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, February 8 Police began a wide search today for a missing beauty contest winner. 20-year-old Violet Alberta Birch. Al] police in Victoria and New Sou h Wales have been given her description. Miss Birch, of Geelong, 40 miles west of Melbourne, was the Returned Services’ League princess of Victoria in 1961. She disappeared on a train journey from Wagga, 322 miles south-west of Sydney, to Geelong last Friday.
