AU FAIT FOR U.S.
Fine Mare Sold The brilliant trotting mare Au Fait, will probably do her future racing in the United States Her Wellington owner. Mr J. McKay announced that she had been sold to Mr M Tananbaum. representing Yonkers Raceway, New York, at a substantial price.

The price for Au Fait had been discussed and agreed upon verbally, said Mr McKay. but the final details had yet to be completed. Au Fait, which had her most important success when she won the Dominion Handicap at Addington last November. is by Johnny Globe from Dauphine She did her early racing from D G Nyhan's stables, but more recently has been prepared by R Young, for whom she developed outstanding form. Au Fait has had 58 starts for 14 wins and 23 olacings worth £9347 in stakes.
