Mamaku Mill To Be Rebuilt
(N.Z. Press Association) NELSON. February 9. The Railways Department sawmill, at Mamaku, destroyed by fire on December 16. is to be rebuilt, the Minister of Railways (Mr McAlpine) announced today. The mill, with an annual output of 3.5 million board feet, supplied the department with its native timber requirements and employed 45 men.
