PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH COLD-WEATHER PHOTOGRAPHY were explained before more than 100 members of the Christchurch Photographic Society by Chief Warrant Officer M. E. Diegelman, photographic officer for the United States Navy Antarctic operations. He is shown addressing the members. With him were Lieutenant M. Wright, photographic officer for VX-6 Squadron, Chief Warrant Officer E. Tuohey, of Task Force 43 staff, and the Navy’s leading Antarctic photographer, Chief Warrant Officer F. Kazukaitis. The photographic experience of the four men totalled 78 years. The talk was illustrated with black and white and colour photographs.
