PEDESTRIAN INJURED

Leg injuries were suffered by Herbert Stanley Fletcher, a farmer, of Waikari, when he was knocked over by a van in Lichfield street, near Colombo street, about 2.55 p.m. yesterday. After treatment at Christchurch Hospital he was allowed to go home.

Daphne FUen Jarden, of Soutbbrook, suffered no injuries when a car she was in collided with another car in Cathedra] square about 4.56 p.m.

The accident happened at fhe northern end of the Square when a car ran into the back of a taxi and the taxi in turn ran into the back of Miss Jarden’s car. After treatment at Christchurch Hospital she was allowed to go home.
