ILLEG. L LOTTERY TICKETS Alfred William Ward Mansfield, aged 45, was fined £lO for being in possession of illegal lottery tickets, and £2 on a charge of drunkenness. He pleaded guilty to both charges. Sergeant B D Read said Mansfield had been arre-ted for drunkenness in High street at 12 30 a m that day When he was searched the police found 58 illegal lottery tickets in his possession. He could not explain how he came to have them REMANDED James Garrick Thurlow, aged 25. was remanded in custody to February 9 on a charge of converting a car. valued at £945, the property of Svderftam Park Car Sales, on Friday. Margaret Lynette Burr, aged 22. was remanded in custody to February 9 on a charge of being idle and disorderly.
A salesman, aged 40. whose name was suppressed, was remanded on bai! to March 2 on a charge of theft as a servant.
