BIG SHARK SIGHTED
Grey Nurse In Bay Of Islands (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 18. Mr A. Fuller, owner of the launch Lady Dpreen, reported by radio-telephoni to his Russell office today that a 16ft shark, estimated to weigh two tons, had been within a few feet of his launch. The shark was brown and grey, with lighter coloured spots, and measured two or three feet across the head, said Mr Fuller who is cruising near the Cavalli islands. Deep-sea fishermen say the description fits that of a grey nurse shark.
