Further Remand In Murder Charge
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 17. A further remand in custody until January 24 was granted John Hector McGregor, aged 26 a glazier, at Auckland today by Mr A, A Coates. S.M., on a charge of murdering Wallace Bernard Whiteford on January 9. The police told the Court it was hoped the preliminary hearing would proceed on January 24.
