AUCKLAND January 7. Two thefts from houses involving more than £l4OO worth of property were discovered during the week-end when honday-makers returnled home.
Mr D J. Lichtenstein, of Elmstone avenue, Remuera was reported to have had about £lOOO worth of clothing photographic equipment ano liquor stolen from his home.
The house of Dr. W. R McKenchnie at Ladies mile. Remuera. was also found broken into. More than £4OO worth of clothing was reported missing.
