TOURIST PARTVS CAPS
Work Of Blind Woman
Red. yellow and black knitted caps, worn by a party of Waikato tourists on a recent South Island scenic tour, attracted much attention.
The caps, in the wellknown colours of the Waikato, had been made by Mrs T. Milnes, of Cambridge, who is blind. Mrs Milnes had been knitting caps for the 30 of the party and the bus driver since last February.
As the story of the caps was made known, Mrs Milnes was warmly welcomed at every place on the itinerary.
Freshly-made cakes, meat pies, savouries and sandwiches will be available today at ETHNE'S CAKE SHOP, 125 Cashel street.
