Daly beat H. Morgan and Mrs M. Robertson. 26-11. Singles.—F. Gurnsey beat Mrs McCracken, 26-16: O. Andersen lost to Mrs Reynolds. 18-26; Mrs Dunn beat Mrs Henry. 26-14; Mrs Penn lost to Mrs Bonar, 16-26; L. Mitchell beat H. Morgan. 26-21; Mrs Daly beat Mrs Robertson. 26-11. Mitchell, giving them a good chance for th* semifinal rounds in the first life on Saturday.
