AIR CRASH IN NORTHERN IRELAND.—A petrol tank of a Royal Air Force Hastings aircraft explodes as the plane crashes while taking off at Aldergrove, Belfast. Firemen had to run for cover as the blazing petrol ignited the' grass. The crew escaped injury. The Hastings, engaged on meteorological work, was badly damaged.
