FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation.—High pressure over New Zealand with a low-pressure trough advancing over the south Tasman Sea towards southern New Zealand. Forecast:— West Coast.—Moderate west to north-west winds; weather mainly cloudy with scattered showers chiefly in the south; temperatures mild. Outlook: scattered showers. Marlborough and Nelson.—Light to moderate variable winds, mainly northerly: weather partly cloudy and warm. Outlook: little change.
