Wife A Former Resident
Lieutenant - Colonel Francis L. Daugherty Jnr., who retired from the United States Air Force in November after more than 21 years' service, plans to make his home in Christchurch. He is married to the former Miss Joan Power of Christchurch, a daughter of the late Mr Arthur Power and Mrs J. Taylor, who now lives in Auckland. While Liei.tenant - Colonel Daugherty was serving as protocol officer for the United States Far East Air Force from 1952 to 1955, Mrs Daugherty spent a year in New Zealand with her son.
Cooking Lamb's Fry When preparing lamb’s fry. soak in a small quantity of milk for 10 minutes before cooking. This improves the flavour and the fry will not be tough and hard.
