(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, January 3. The New Zealand coach. A. Lydiafd. now is coaching by correspondence the Australian distance runner. D. Power. The 33-year-old Power, who has been his own trainer and coach for the last 15 years, with only occasional help from Percy Cerutty. said today that Lydiard had achieved great results with his strenuous training methods. "It is a tough routine with a long build-up of distance running." he said. "My training has rejuvenated me. I have never felt fitter and I hope to clock world-class times. "I feel 1962 will be my gratest year in athletics, thanks to meeting Lydiard overseas at the Rome Olympics.” he said.
