AUSTRALIAN SCOUTS
Party On Way To Jamboree Sixty Australian scouts arrived in Christchurch yesterday on their way to the New Zealand jamboree in Dunedin. Their stay in Christchurch was brief—only the 10 minutes it took them to leave the plane at the Christchurch airport and board the two buses which took them to Dunedin. The contingent is led by the general secretary of the Tasmanian branch of the Australian Boy Scouts’ Association (Mr R. Lane). The jamboree will begin on Saturday and end on January 13. After the jamboree the Australian scouts will tour New Zealand for three weeks.
