No. 75 BOMBER SQUADRON
Repatriation From Singapore Begins (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 17. The repatriation of the Royal New Zealand Air Force’s No. 75 jet-bomber squadron from Singapore has begun. A squadron warrant officer with his wife and family returned to Auckland in an R.N.Z.A.F. troop-carrier today. Most members of the unit will remain in the Far East until February or March. The R.N.Z.A.F. DC-6 also brought back 21 soldiers and dependants from Malaya. The soldiers, members of the first rear party from the 2nd Battalion of the New Zealand Regiment, were originally not due until January. There are now only 50 members of the 2nd Battalion left in the Far East.
