NEW FOKKER FRIENDSHIP
Seventh Plane For N.A.C.
The seventh of the fleet of eight Fokker Friendships ordered by the National Airways Corporation arrived at Harewood airport about 7 p.m. last evening after a 10day flight from Amsterdam. The aircraft will be inspected and overhauled and is expected to go into service in time for the corporation’s summer time-table which starts on December 19. The eighth and last of the Fokker Friendships is expected to arrive at Harewood about December 14. The aircraft was captained by Captain W. B. Pettet. The flight engineers were Messrs A. Cook and R. Seeker.
