The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Lyttelton Horticultural Society:— Patron, the Mayor of Lyttelton (Mr J. B. Collett); president, Mr W. Morris; vice-presidents, Mrs R. Duckworth and Mr G. Patience; secretary, Mrs J. May; treasurer, Mrs J. D. L Sherwin; auditor, Mr L Luxton; committee, Mesdames R. Duckworth, J. May, L Luxton, E. Harvey, H. Harkess. W Stevenson, A. R. Pryde, D. Lochhead. N. Radovonich. Captain D. N. McLeish, 0.8. E., Messrs W. Morris. G. Patience, J. Hobbs, A. Cable. R. Wells. The Huston Memorial Cup was won by Mrs L Luxton. who gained most points in the year’s competitions.
