November Wool Sale Proceeds
Gross proceeds from the Christchurch wool sale held on November 1 were £1,627,865. compared with £1,500.971 for the same sale in the 1960-61 season. The average price per lb rose from 38.72 d to 41.24 d. The net weight of wool sold rose from 9,304,0681 b to 9,475,7051 b. The 30,229 bales sold averaged £53 17s 3d.
