COMBINED SERVICE AT LINCOLN
450 Persons From Four Churches More than 450 pecuons attended the first combined service to be held by Anglican, Baptist, Presbyterian and Methodist Churches in the Lincoln area. The service conducted yesterday was to conunemorate the third assembly of the World Council of Churches meeting at New Delhi. Held to the refectory at Canterbury Agricultural College the service lasted about an hour. The speaker was Canon M. Peaston. riceprincipal of Christchurch College, who spoke on the unity of churches today. The service was celebrated jointly by the Anjdican minister of the area, the Bev. R. E. Coulthard; the Baptist minister, the Rev. E. T. Jones; the Presbyterian minister, toe Rev. D S. Knight; and toe Methodist minister, the Rev. F. H. Woodfield. V
