Car Plunges Into Sea
(N.Z. Press Association) WSLUUGfrOti, Nov. 26. Roland Mason Cunliffe, aged 17, of Melrose, escaped with minor cuts when the car be was driving plunged off tfie Evan* Bay parade at Schnapper Point at 630 p.m. today. He was treated at the Wdlington Hospital and discharged. Mr C. Billing, a Worser Bay Surf Club member, who was driving behind in his car when the accident occurred, dived to the car in search of occupants. He later made three further dives to fix tow ropes for the salvage vehicle.
