THREE WINS TO TRAINER
Successful Night At Adelaide The South Australian trainer. D. J. Egan, who brought Tree Aces to the Inter-Dominion Championship Series at Addington earlier in the year, had a most successful night at Wayville, Adelaide, last Saturday. He won races with Guile, Three Aces and Cloncurry. all of which started at odds on. All three horses are raced by Messrs A. G. Charleson and C. O. Nesbit, and were driven by R. Robinson, who drove Three Aces' at Addington. Guile, which started at 3 to 1 on, won the Ivanhoe Qualifying Handicap by a W’ide margin. He is a five-year-old getting by U. Scott from Tactics, a mare which won her way to New Zealand Cup class when trained by M. Holmes for Mr A. A. Wilson, of Wyndham. Three Aces started at 7 to 2 on and won the Pasadena Handicap. He was the backmarker on 12 yards and after being sixth with less than three furlongs left he raced five wide and won by three yards. The former Queensland horse, Cloncurry. won the Dickson Handicap by five yards. He started at 5 to 4 on, Cloncurry is by Talmoi from the New Zealand-bred mare. Chenligtst, by Light Brigade.
