FORMER NEW ZEALAND FLAGSHIP TO BE BROKEN UP.—The 18-year-old cruiser Black Prince, which has been on loan to the Royal New Zealand Navy for 15 years, has been returned to Admiralty control and will be sold for scrapping. For the last six years she has been in reserve at the Devonport (Auckland) naval base. This photograph of the Black Prince was taken when she visited Lyttelton for the first time on April 30, 1946.
